When I first started quilting, I was alll about the bright rainbow colours- as I’ve continued, I’ve muted down my palette slightly and now I tend to gravitate to colour that will match our home- more muted pastels, plus my favourite gingerbread colour which seems to be in 90% of the quilts I’ve made in the last few years… but when I saw Then Came June’s Goldie quilt, my old rainbow loving self was reignited and I knew I had to go bright and bold! And this quilt is certainly that! I did straight line quilting with the lines on a diagonal about 1” apart. For my backing, I used a white and black check- after walking around the fabric shop for what felt like hours, I think I finally found the perfect backing! Kits are available to make your own Goldie quilt from Scribbly Gum Quilt Co
